Users are reporting outages with Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, all three being owned by Facebook.

In a message posted on Twitter, Facebook stated:

We’re aware that some people are having trouble accessing our apps and products. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

When logging in to Facebook, the message is “This site can’t be reached Check if there is a typo in www.facebook.com. If spelling is correct, try running Windows Network Diagnostics”. The same message appears when trying to connect to Instagram.

Users who tried to enter the desktop version of WhatsApp were greeted with messages about not connecting “This site can’t be reached”.

In the WhatsApp application, when users send messages, the message “connect” and the clock icon appears, but the content is not sent to the recipient.

Users of Facebook services and Instagram, WhatsApp, and Messenger applications could not access their accounts in various parts of the world on Monday, according to the Downdetector website.

Tens of thousands of Internet users in the United States, England, Mexico, France, Norway, and other countries reported not being able to access Facebook and Instagram services.
